Built at the March AI Hack in 2 hours. This tool analyzes discussion contributions in real-time, surfacing key tensions and underrepresented perspectives. The goal is to support the human facilitator by making visible patterns they might miss in a fast-moving conversation.

The prototype uses Claude to process a running transcript and generate three types of prompts: tension identifiers, voice equity checks, and depth probes. In testing, facilitators said it helped them notice when certain students had gone quiet.

Have you thought about using this for async discussions too? The tension-surfacing would be really useful in Canvas forums.

This is exactly the kind of project we should be highlighting. The voice equity check is a genuine contribution.

Would love to try this in my section next week. How do I set up the transcript input?
